At the invitation of the Hungarian Poster Society, this was designed for a special exhibition of posters honoring Alfons Mucha. The exhibition featured a number of works by contemporary Hungarian designers… and two others: Legendre+Rutter. The larger exhibition featured original art prints and posters by Mucha, himself.

Three Musketeers / Pair

For an American stage musical version of the classic story, this poster was originally commissioned by the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. The iconic image was created by Legendre, the typography by Rutter. This is a series of two posters using the same character, who blushes after receiving the praise of critics. Fantasmagoria Fukuda 1939-2009

Shigeo Fukuda was one of the most influential Japanese artists and designers of any generation. His posters were exhibited all over the world for five decades, and he was the recipient of the highest prize at the Warsaw Biennial and many others. This poster was designed as a tribute to Fukuda and will appear in a world-wide traveling exhibition, along with posters designed by other top poster designers internationally.
